Can from Corti Bros. Pours slightly hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is quite tropical. Think I can parse out passion fruit and pineapple. Med body or a bit more. Flavor is quite hoppy and tropical. The flavor seems more mango and guava. Maybe a touch of citrus. Juicily undry. Moderately bitter. Nothing harsh that I can find. It's a way too easy drinker. Very good stuff.

750 c&c from Corti Bros. Pours tarnished gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is floral and fruity with something else beneath. Med body or a bit more. Flavor is caramel at a level not unexpected for a 10% ale. The floral gets a bit lost and the flavor is headed towards citrus/pine more than pale stone fruit. But a bit of everything. I think it's not Brut as found in the lowever ABV IPAs, but given the 10% it might qualify at that rarified level. Dryer than the ABV would suggest, quite hoppy, and more than moderately bitter, it's a good drink.

Can from Corti Bros. at 8.5%. Pours clear gold with a copper note and a white head. No haze - but I didn't shake the can! Aroma is dankish citrus. Med plus body. Flavor is dankish citrus. It's fairly dry. It's quite hoppy. It is bitter. Get's a pine/resin aspect in the finish. Pretty much West Coast IMHO. Good drink.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours bright gold with tiny bubbles and a creamy white head. Aroma of mild noble hop and melon. Med body. Quite dry. At least moderately bitter. Flavor has noble hop spice, white berry and something like a persian melon unripe flesh (not too strong on the latter). Long lasting bitterness. Quite drinkable.

On draught at Murphys Pour House. This was cloyingly sweet and malt powered.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours slightly hazy gold with a white head. Interesting peach/mango aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is peach at first and ends mango. Not at all juicy. Definitely tropical. Not sweet exactly, but not wholly dry. About as dry as one of the Brut IPAs? Very nicely bitter. Tastes good!

Can from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Mild pale stone fruit with a little breadiness for aroma. Not dry. Not very hoppy. Honey on my lips. Imagine kolsch with a bit of fruit and a hint of honey. Would do for lake beer.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brn/blk with a darkish tan head. Aroma of chocolate, treacle and bourbon. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is dark chocolaty treacle with clearly discernible bourbon flavor. Not at all dry, but there is an oak astringency aspect. So it's like a dry, bitter ale.One of those amazing beer complexity things. Also some darkish fruit lurks in the depths. Very earthy. With time some "whiskey"ness comes through. Very pleasing ale.

Can from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma is more grassy than spicy. Med body. Bready, but not annoyingly so. The noble hop grassiness has a bit of spice support. Not really getting anything else. It's a very nice, clean kolsch. Strangely, I like the flavor.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours hazy orangey gold with a slight white head. Aroma is super juicy citrus/tropical. Med ++ body. Flavor is citrus and tropical in a pretty juicy undry way. Tropical seems to include passionfruit. It's hoppy and nicely bitter in a juicy way. Now it's starting to seem a bit dank. There's a little cooked stone fruit and some mildly roasty malt. It just keeps getting complicated. Tastes very good.
