About
The Brauhaus Gusswerk is an innovative symbiosis of a beer bar and a brewery, a place for enjoyment, communication and cosiness. The initiator of this unique project is Salzburg's Reinhold Barta, passionate brewer. After more than ten years of organic brewing experience he realized his organic brewery in Salzburg's “Gusswerk” in 2007. Reinhold Barta's goal is to make sustainable and biodynamic beer in Austria socially acceptable. When he saw the plans of the "Gusswerk", he immediately knew: "This is where my brewery belongs." The beer should be drawn from the strength of its origin, of course with purely organic ingredients and old, natural manufacturing processes that reflect the circle of nature.

Eingetrübt orange rosa Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Fruchtiger Geruch nach Rhabarber. Geschmacklich ebenso fruchtig nach Rhabarber mit einer Mischung aus süßen und säuerlichen Aromen. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit und mittlerer Sauerlichkeit, leichter Körper mit aktiver Kohlensäure.

Bottled (2015 vintage). Ruby red colour, small off-white head. Aroma is earthy, some fruity, raisins and mild toffee. Flavour is raisins, alcohol, zest and mild alcohol. very nicely balanced flavour. 2013 was useless in most ways.
