Bottle from a friend, rating from notes. Aroma has hops but i do not pick up the honey. A little sweet in the flavor, with a dry, bitter and grassy finish. A little light and i do not pick up the gin at all, unless that is contributing to the grassy hop flavor in the finish.

Full pour at the brewery. Copper color. Dry malt and dry hops. Balanced with malt and hops but could have more hop bitterness or hop character. This seems like more of an Amerifan pale ale than an ipa.

Full pour at the brewery. Amber color. An unusual beer, some spoce in the aroma. First taste is bitter, almost like a sip of an Italian apertiff. Dry, bitter finish. This is weird and i like it.Aybr better for summer.

Winterfest 2015. The second beer I had from Waconia. Thin and metallic. Iron, Some carbonation but not enough for the style. None of the flavors typical of the style, or sweet wheat flavor, and the strong character of metal and minerals really ruined this beer. This was horrible and should have been dumped.
