Taster at brewery. Dark brown, some light peeking through, small ring of beige head. Roasty aroma, sweet, pancake syrup. Taste is more roasty bitterness, and some sugary sweetness. One of the best of the lot, only knock is body is a bit thin.

Taster at brewery. Dark amber, flat. Aroma is cough drops, chocolate, hard candy. Weird...malty, sweet thin. Not getting what they were trying to do.

Taster at brewery. Medium, clear amber, spotty head, some lacing. Not too far removed from the Boiler 5 Red, malty and dry. Distinctive hop characteristics to all of their beers, medicinal, herbal, earthy.

Taster at brewery. Medium amber, light haze. Malty aroma, brown bread. Taste is more of the malts with a dry bitter finish. Some medicinal notes.

Taster at brewery. Orange golden, small spotty head, lots of lacing. Herbal aroma, floral, dry, dusty. Taste is sage, herbal, earthy hops, hint of caramel.Dry finish.

Taster at brewpub. Amber, kind of flat. Herbal, medicinal aroma. Taste is kind of earthy, handsoap, caramel, but it works in an odd way.

Pours clear light golden, no head or lacing. I could smell the jalapeños in the flight of beers, before getting close to it. Jalapeños, green peppers, hot in the throat
