Description
Our brewery derives its name from the first two atomic bombs detonated at the Nevada Test Site. These two test explosions were codenamed after the military’s phonetic alphabet of the time, making them tests “Able” and “Baker”.
The experimentation at the Nevada Test Site led to the refining of the Atomic Bomb and the ushering in of the Nuclear Age. This was a notable time in Nevada as “Atomic Blast” viewing parties were commonplace and several “Miss Atomic” beauty queens were crowned. The Atomic Age influences our artwork and concepts while allowing us to give a respectful nod to Nevada’s unique state history.

Slight haze. Thin head. Sticky, light mango, kind of weak for mango beer…I mean even the colour, could be anything. Needs way, way more mango.

Slightly dull and hazy. Thin head. Mild, tart, pretty simple. Less horchata character than I was expecting.

Golden-brown colour, thin head. Wood-accented bock but light like single bock and lacking decoction richness. So it’s okay. If you’re not Bavarian or looking for something serious.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of spicy chili peppers, a touch of cinnamon, some oak, and surprisingly thin malt. Flavour is fairly thin, with cocoa, cinnamon, less chili on the nose, and toasted malt. For such a high ABV beer, the malts seem rather thin. Balanced and has ome nice sugars in there, but leaves something to be desired. Good, but underwhelming.

Dark brown. Thin head. The cinnamon is solid, good chocolate note. On the palate, it's somewhat thick, with a chocolate focus. It's got a touch of spice. Kind of light for the size.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Cake-like chocolate with underlying cinnamon and feint chilli, medium body. Decent.

Dark brown, thin head. Okay - chocolatey and a bit thin, seems okay in a fudgey sense but also begging for adjuncts and treatments. Probably why it took me four visits to get the base.

Brown-amber, and bright. Soft toffee malt, light dates. Alcohol floats in, it’s good but comes across a bit thin.

Slight haze, no head. Aroma is sort of those flabby malts, rye notes and substantial grapefruit hops. So a mix of good things and bad things.
