Opaque and pale, with a thin head. soft, a bit light, but the flavours…those Weihenstephaner bananas, that’s spot on. Ok…they nailed the hard part (the fermentation) but were a slight miss on the easy part (mash)… so drop a proper decoction on this and win a WBC medal?

375ml bottle is an oily black. Nose has honey and malt, caramel, barrel. Sweet, honey, chestnut, malt, barrel. Its good. Sweet. But good. Full, sticky finish.
