Cask at Robin Hood Beer Festival 2019. Pours clear golden with white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma, bit weird taste, malty, sweetish, some wet feet, seems bit off. Light bodied.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 4 - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds rich pale grains, light leaves, lemon rind. Light sweet flavour with some smoke, tobacco ash, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Harsh finish, more off ashy notes, rind, grain. Subpar.

ABV: 3.8%. Clear medium yellow amber colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, UK yeast, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. ABV: 5.0%. Clear dark brown red colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted - toasted, sweet malt, caramel, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, dark malt, chocolate, light roasted - toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ Shrewsbury Real Ale Festival, July 2018. Pours a deepy misty amber, tan bubbles. Sweet chocolate-covered cherry sweets in the aroma. Taste is bitter, thin with a sharp sweetness. Not great.

Cask at the St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2017. Pours black with a small off-white head. Aroma of heavy chocolate and coffee, malt, liquorice and dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and quite heavy dark chocolate bitterness. Full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Roasted bitterness to finish. Very good – our beer of this festival.
