Established in 2009
We brewed our beers for a long time in other breweries. That went well, but due to the ever-increasing demand for Wispe, we often had to move to other breweries. The desire to take matters into your own hands increased.
After ten years of brewing, in 2020 we opened our own brewery in the Sint-Laurentiuskerk, in the old center of the fortified city of Weesp. With a view of the copper brewing kettles you can now enjoy all our beautiful beers here.

Hoppy nose. Clear pale golden colour, two finger frothy white head, recedes slowly to decent layer, nice lacing. Aroma grain, bread, sugary, hay, hint of citrus. Taste medium sweet, light bitter, fruity notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, finish is light bitter, sweet undertones. Nothing special.

Hazy deep golden colour, small frothy off-white head, disappears completely quickly. Aroma malty, yeast, bread, apple, citrus. Taste is medium sweet, slightly bitter, yeasty; medium body, oily texture; finish is sweet, bit acidic and some herbal notes. Disappointing, lacks character.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Sugary cereal and white bread on the nose, hay, ripe lemon. Medium sweet flavor, lightly papery, more cereal, ripe lemon. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, sugary, more white read, cereal. Basic but tasty enough.
