Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a pale gold with medium sized off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has biscuits and caramel. Biscuits again in the mouth, but joined now by some floral hopps and silver shred marmalade. Just a hint of citrus as well. Finish is slightly dry and a bit sticky. This is OK, but a bit bland – though I suppose most table beers are by their nature.

Cask at Tap, Derby. Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head. Just a weak aroma with some lemon and generic citrus. In the mouth this was sweet and a little watery. The main flavour was oranges with some hints of grapefruit. Finish was dry with a little citrus. Pleasant and refreshing, but too much citrus for my taste.

Cask at Greyhound, Derby. Pours a dark burgundy with minimal off-white head. This has a vague aroma of chocolate. In the mouth it is sweet and fruity, but the trexture is slightly watery. Flavour starts off as toffee and red wine gums, but some slight hoppiness creeps in later. Finish is quite fruity. Reasonable, but a bit bland.
