Description
Located in the Finistère region, the Brasserie de Bretagne (formerly Brasserie Britt) has existed since 1998 and brews Breton craft beers. It is distinguished by the creation of “innovative” beers such as Britt Rosée and event beers such as Britt with Special Sochi Vodka or even Britt Do Brasil. Production (in hl per year): 72,000. Other brands are Ar-men, Dremmwel and Sann Erwan.

It is in the coastal town of Concarneau that we develop our recipes in an 8,500 m2 workshop, combining quality raw materials with the mastery of our know-how, inspired by a rich artisanal tradition.

Bottled. An unclear red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of cranberries and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of cranberries, malt, and dusty hops, leading to a sweet finish.

Bottle 0.33l, thanks to Pade. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Hints of smoke and tar, sweetness, spices and some malts.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is mild sulphur, mild toasted notes along with some meaty notes. Flavour is tar, sour wood, some slight leathery notes as well as mild meaty notes.

26.11.13 Bottle 330ml Alko. Golden color, small white head. Pear/apple-fruityness in the nose. Light to medium-bodied, fizzy. Flavor has some pear, banana esters and alcohol. Light bitterness. Towards to end quite watery. Quite Belgian blonde kind of beer.

Bottled 330ml Saveur. Deep amber color, medium-sized off-white head. Light caramel and cardboardish veggie notes in the nose. Medium-bodied. Caramel, vegetably yeastyness, notes of berries. Quite meh.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown to dark orange with a huge off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light herbal to fruity hoppy. Bitter and toasted malty finish.

Bottled 330ml. -Dark golden/amber coloured, small off-white head, mild fruity spicy nose. Moderate malty, sweet fruity, yeasty and spices with discreet alcohol presence. Light hoppy finish. Nice and pleasant.

Bottled 330ml. -Yellow coloured, small white head, quite dry grassy nose. Malty, dry grassy and bitterish hoppy with herbal notes in the finish. Mild bready also. Not bad.
