Bottle. Lightly hoppy, lightly spicy aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Tastes a bit old, but not bad. Fruity and spicy. Leaves a rubbery feeling on tongue.

Actually bought under the name of Ar-men Ambrée au blé noir Hazy, very dark brown beer with some red highlights; with a good brownish tinted, collapsing head, some lace. First impression is slightly sourish, lactic, but mixed with quite a bit of coloured, but still sweet malts, even chocolat malt. Sweet taste, quite malty, bit of dull chocolate, but always with a little spike of lactic-like acidity. Not very well-bodied, bit thin. Quite disappointin, as most Brittany’s black beers are very distinctive, and really tasting of the black grain. This one doesn’t.

A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is primarily spicy and herbal combined with light notes of caramel and fruits. The flavor is quite light with notes of caramel, herbs, and honey. And the body is also thin.

750 ml corked bottle, bought in France. ABV is 4.8%. Pale straw coloured, a faint haziness, large white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Very nice aroma of yeast, herbs and spices, hints of oak and alcohol. Very refreshing flavour, mild spices (coriander), light bodied. Pleasant beer.

Hazy amber color. Quite ordinary Ale, simple malt, some sweetness, more bitter than the average, not a good yeast choice, very light impression of infection at the end; some late caramel.

Amber color; big head. Sweet aroma, somehow chemical. Malty taste but too bitter. Odd.

Hazy golden color. The aroma is lightly malty, a bit fruity (banana). Ordinary Ale, simple taste, some sweetness, low hopping. Not interesting.

Blond color. Sweet aroma, malty and fruity (but artificial). Some body structure, not very complex, at the end is a bit too bitter.
