Handpull cask at the Shakespeare, Kelham Island. Unfortunately Queer Brewing will be winding down, so get their beer while you can. Dark brown and just a little bit translucent with a small uneven ring of tan head. Gentle malty aroma with light chocolate notes. Now this stout tastes wonderful. Sweet at first with all sorts of the typical notes bouncing around: chocolate, liquorice, ashy flavours. Turns fruity and bitter with lots of blackberry and plum with liquorice still hanging on the edge. Now, I struggle with stouts that have too much liquorice but this is great. Light to medium body with little carbonation.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Hazy yellow. Spicy hops, guava, mango, gooseberries, crisp malts, wheat. Medium sweet, less bitter and very light sour. Medium bodied. Not a typical hazy IPA, this seems to have some nice pils malts. Not bad!
