Bottle. Clear, pale golden beer with a white, large-bubbled head. Weak nose with grain and hops. The flavor has a strange, but not unpleasant, fruityness, as well as grain and hops. Thin body. Grainy and slightly bitter finish. Not the best diät I’ve had. (070807)

Though my label says Hansa Pure Quality Imported Dortmunder, I’m not sure if this is the correct place to put my rating. First off this is a surprising bottle, usually you get a little less than 12 oz from these foreign bottles but his is a big pint and it was only $1.20, what a deal. The bottle is odd in shape but I guess that is how they get so much in a short bottle. Candy mild aroma, taste is also candy like. Has the appearance of a typical ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Rather enjoyable and easy to drink, I can get to like this, I think. Well of course I like lagers and this dort is as mild as most lagers. Quite a bargain for the price of this imported beer. Mild industrial bitterness overtakes the tastebuds after a few minutes in this session. Much more enjoyable than great lakes dort and victory v. Above average tingling carbonation that is certainly welcomed. An overly refined impact sticks on the back of your throat for a while once into the session. The finish is a mild bitter bite on the rear of your palate.

I love to cool down my beer sinking the bottle into an Alpine river!
Light blond color. Some malt aroma. The mouthfeel is dry, with some more malt than the average Lager, and a quite strong bitterness. Drinkable.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Pale yellow colour. Very artificial lemon aroma and flavor. Very sweet, and no beer detected. Exstremely watery.

Bottle, 4.8%. OK, slightly fruity aroma. Clear golden colour, unstable white head. Rather clean flavour with a distinct bitterness. A little rough in the finish, but drinkable enough.

Bottle, 4.8%. Banana aroma. The flavour is rather thin, only hint of wheat. Very boring, I do not get any citrus or banana flavours.
