Hazy amber color, thin creamy head, nice lace. It has a medium malty aroma, lightly fruity. Very smooth mouthfeel, with dry toffee flavor and a quite powerful bitterness; the hopping shows a British character and it’s also lightly fruity. Really good.

Black color; creamy head. It has some roasted malt aroma, and yeasty dough in the beginning, some hop later. It has a reasonably smooth mouthfeel; the flavor is quite balanced in the front, but quickly gets dominated too much by the roasted malt, that is not extreme, but still too aggressive for my liking. The final has also too much roasted bitterness, and a sourish touch from it. Correctly brewed, but not in my target.

2010-05-16, cask at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen, 6.8% ABV, 6-4-7-4-14=35
Hazy blond color; small foamy head, persistent. Initially there is a hint of citrusy hops, followed by light yeast and dirty water. Smooth mouthfeel; sweetish malt and toffee flavor, quite earthy; delicate, citrusy hops create a good bitterness level. Maybe a real IPA... Pleasant

2008-04-07, bottle at Cokney Pub, Århus, 7% ABV, 7-3-6-3-14=33
Clean deep blond color. Quite hoppy aroma, light manure in the beginning. Good caramel flavor, a bit harsh, with a prepotent hopping. Interesting.

Cask at the Market Porter in London. Floral aroma. Amber color with a nice off-white head. Thin to medium body. Mild carbonation. Rather floral/herbal flavor. Finishes balanced. Bitter builds in the finish. Gets better with time.
