Cask at GBBF 2006. A light orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus and flowers. The flavor is sweet spicy and hoppy with some notes of citrus and coriander. A very refreshing beer. I could drink many pints of this.

Bottled. Slightly hazy, pale yellow with citrussy hops in the aroma. More hops in the mouth providing a taste of grapefruit and elderflowersl, accompanied by sweet malt. An enjoyable pale ale.

Bottled beer 6% according to label. got this from Tucker Maltings. Poured deep brown and with a good sized off white head. The aroma was malty and with some fruits, taste had many of the characteristics of the Downton Chimera IPA that I’d drunk earlier in the evening and which is on of my favourite bottled beers. This had a great roasted bitterness which really like the IPA lingered forever and a day, the strength is never overpowering it’s just there and you just want to sup away all night at this, some slight sourness coupled with those lovely roasty bitter flavours make this a really corking beer.

Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. Deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. Roasted malt and dark fruit aroma. Nice flavours in mouth. I do like this, some lovely malts, dry malt bordering on the powdery. Full in mouth with a touch of sourness.

Cask Golden-orange, B.C."H.". Fine hoppy nose, but with a smoked fishy-salty tang. Very nice, if ever so light hop touch: flowery, even a bit grassy, spring leaves, ending on a just-sweet malt note. Light, but somehow certainly not empty. Nice, hoppy, light English hopbitter.
