330ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Jet black colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Roasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty, slightly yeasty spicy and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, some chocolate, cocoa, a touch of plum, dark berries, black pepper, dust. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty and chocolately, dark malty, notes of molasses, milk chocolate; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. A bit raw and dirty - not bad.

Lemony hops and a bite of orange to the taste character. Ends with a decent touch of fruity bitterness. Quite moreish. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).
