Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Opaque black, light sparkle, fine particulate mist, thin cap of head with poor retention, trace lacing. Aroma is strong earthy, roasted malt, molasses, light toffee. Taste is strong molasses, earthy roasted malt. Smooth, creamy texture, average carbonation, finish as taste. Strong aroma and flavor without a lot of complexity.

16 oz can. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate and charred grain. Taste is charred malt, ash and some balanced bitterness. Not over roasted but close. This certainly would fare better on nitro rather than from the can. Just OK.
