Cask at Wetherspoons, Ruislip Manor (New brew beer festival). A deep brown ruby coloured pour with virtually no head on top. Sweet, fruity aroma. Tastes sweet, malty, fruity with some caramel in there too. Rather thin and uninspiring.

330ml bottle from the brewery shop. Straw with a billowing white head that fades to just a ring; rich aroma of grassy hops with a touch of musty yeast; crisp and fresh in the mouth with a grainy body and a touch of citrus; before a firm herbal bitterness that leads to a dry finish with some lingering stewed vegetable flavours that are surprisingly pleasant. An excellent pilsner.
