Description
The brewery is the beating heart of the Craywinckelhof. It all started in 1893, when Germaan Van Obbergen, like many farmers at the time, started a small farm brewery. The brewery, however, was not granted a long life, during the First World War the German occupiers seized all the brewing material. In 2010, Louis Schrevens, now the 5th generation, decided to restore the brewery to its former glory.

pours clear blonde, rather small white head. Smell is sweet, malty, mildly yeasty. Taste is surprisingly bitter. very yeast. Malty underneath, but the taste is mostly yeasty. Overripe fruits, as is typical for the style. Average MF, and good carbo ( for once, not overcarbonated )

Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll. Clear amber copper color, full sized off-white to beige head. Aroma reminds me of wet leaves. A bit musty. Taste malts, wet leaves, rotting leaves, metallic, unfresh. Don’t like it at all.
