Description
The brewery is the beating heart of the Craywinckelhof. It all started in 1893, when Germaan Van Obbergen, like many farmers at the time, started a small farm brewery. The brewery, however, was not granted a long life, during the First World War the German occupiers seized all the brewing material. In 2010, Louis Schrevens, now the 5th generation, decided to restore the brewery to its former glory.

Vreemde geur die gelukkig wegvalt in de smaak. Een zware alcohol smaak blijft op de lippen hangen en blijft lang in de keel. Weinig aroma's

Bottle @ Barely Legal Tasting Room Pours dark amber, rather big white head . Smell is sweet . Sugary, bit yeasty Taste is surprisingly bitter ( yet not really bitter ) some coffee notes, roasted malts . Sweetness here feels more like maltsweetness . Bit metallic in the aftertaste . Not too bad !
