Description
The brewery is the beating heart of the Craywinckelhof. It all started in 1893, when Germaan Van Obbergen, like many farmers at the time, started a small farm brewery. The brewery, however, was not granted a long life, during the First World War the German occupiers seized all the brewing material. In 2010, Louis Schrevens, now the 5th generation, decided to restore the brewery to its former glory.

4/VIII/17 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ holidays - BB: 31/X/18 - lot 2016-0004 (2017-1169)

Clear blond beer, small creamy irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: very funky, bit sourish, yeast, bit dirty. Probably infected? MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very yeasty, bit sourish, spicy, coriander. Aftertaste: bit fruity, sweet, spicy, lots of yeast, unpleasant bitterness, weird, dirty touch. Maybe it's just the yeast? Something is very unpleasant anyway.
