0.5 can. From Penny Market. It also has a decent dark brown color and a scaly creamy head. The aroma is also normal, caramel malt, tiny fruitiness also comes from the hops. It is moderately watery, but has the characteristics of a normal brown lager beer. Dry sip, coffee, roasted flavors. I was expecting worse.

Tisztességes sötétbarna szín, kévés krémszínű hab is marad rajta. Illata is normális, karamell malátás, pici gyümölcsösség is jön a komlótól. Közepesen vizes, ugyanakkor egy normál barna láger sör jegyei megvannak benne. Száraz kortyérzet, kávés, pörkölt ízek. Én rosszabbra számítottam.

50cl can. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of dusty grainy and spicy malt, cheap hops. Taste of cheap spicy hops, dusty grainy and spicy malt. Boring!

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, bready, spicy, malty aroma. Taste is sweet-ish, bready, minimally biscuity, spicy malty, a creamy touch of butterscotch, grassy, mildly bitter hoppy counterpart. Creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Simple and unspectacular expected, not bad though - decent.

Deep gold with a frothy, white head. Grainy aroma with white bread underneath. Taste has a pleasant, cereal bitterness the whole way through. Crisp and clean with a grainy finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent everyday drinking.

Billigbierverkostung: Das Landgraf Märzen gegen das Bertold Světlé Výčepní Pivo. Das normale Landgraf ist das billigste Bier, das man in österreichischen Supermarkt findet: 0,55 €/0,5l-Hülse, in Aktion auch schon um 0,39€ gesehen. Das Märzen ist das Premium-Landgraf für 0,05 € mehr Das Bertold aus Tschechien ist mit 5,9 CZK, also 0,23 € noch billiger. Demenstsprechend einfach ist das Zeug auch gestaltet. Dabei schmeckt es nicht mal so wässrig, aber man merkt die eingesetzte Chemie an allen Ecken: nix brotiges, hefiges, malziges und hopfiges dran. Einfach nur flaches Sauf- und Vernichtungsbier. Auch wenn das Landgraf Märzen etwas vollmundiger als das Landgraf Schankbier wirkt, ist es dennoch absolut nicht zu empfehlen.
