Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

330ml bottle. Clear, orange, dark golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally toasty, bready, pale malty aroma, unspecific, hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally doughy, bready, pale malty and mildly bitter, grassy hoppy, mineral overtones. Watery texture, smooth, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather expressionless, fairly refreshing at least - meh!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a neat and solid, white head. Nose is clean, sweet malts. Medium body, same clean, pale malts - a little grainy perhaps - with just enough malts for balance. Bitburger make better Pilsners. 121124

Not bad. But nothing special. Not much going on for flavour.

Many thanks to Gabriel. Foamy white head on quickly carbonating clear amber coloured body. Cardboard, grain & cereal aroma. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a lifeless back. Biscuit, bread, grain & cereal tastes. Lacking.
