Description
At Bitburger, the pure pleasure of Pilsner-style beer has a long family tradition. Since the founding of our brewery in 1817, we have dedicated ourselves fully to the quality and taste of our products. Today, seven generations and almost 200 years later, Bitburger is still in family hands – but the small business of two centuries ago has become one of the biggest breweries in Germany, and the number one player in the draught beer market. We owe the success of our company first and foremost to our employees, who bring real passion to their work for the company. For us, a sense of social responsibility is simply part of what we do. Bitburger also supports many charitable and community projects, and promotes cultural and sporting events.

0.5 l can from local 'Penny', canned in March 2025. A little hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, a little artificial aroma of peach, ice tea and light gummy bear. Fairly sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity and minimally artificial taste of peach, ice tea, some grains and hints of gummy bear, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad as a lemonade.

0.5l can from local 'Penny', canned in March 2025. Slightly hazy, straw yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, slightly artificial aroma of pineapple, gummy bear and hints of grains. Rather sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity and slightly artificial taste of grains, pineapple, some gummy bear and hints of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. I expected much worse, actually quite drinkable.

Promotion coop, buying by internet. A great classical, a perfect beer after the work, of course it is not complex like others beers but it makes the job of a German pils, dry malt, bready, dry bitterness, refreshing and nice after a full day in Allaman.
