Description
Our Brewery is based in North Wales and located in the Plassey, it is the oldest micro brewery in Wales surrounded by glorious countryside. Richard moved into the brewery in 2017 and started making real ale from our 12-barrel brew plant. We focus on brewing a core range with some seasonal specials. Our ethos is to only brew beer we want to drink as we are a small brewery and we want every brew to count. You can try the range of beer in pubs in England and Wales and of course in our own Taproom in Wrexham. We also sell bottles here online and mini kegs too. I hope you enjoy drinking the ale as much as we enjoy brewing it. Liz Lever – Founder.

Formed following the takeover of New Plassey Brewery. Magic Dragon brewery started brewing in Spring 2017. New Plassey (prev Plassey and Gertie Sweet) is separately listed.

Cask @ Shrewsbury real ale festival 2019, St Mary's Church. Pours a generally clear gold, small white head. Light malt on the nose. Bears a gentle sweetness, a little yeasty, but generally nice and fresh with a subtle bitterness. Good easy drinker.

Cask pint in The Bear, Hodnet Shropshire on 23rd Feb 2018. Golden pour, clean and clear, white crown on top. A decent blend of malts and hops, light citrus leanings from the hops in both the nose and taste, semi-sweetness from the malts. Nice balance, dry finish.

Cask hand-pulled pint on 2nd Sep 2017. Sat in the beer garden of The Black Bear, Whitchurch Shropshire. This is a pleasant, easy drinking blend of hops and barley malts: clear golden body with a decent white crown on top. Nothing strong or different in aroma or flavour, just a good honest pint neither sweet nor bitter, a middle of the road session ale. Ideal sunny weather beer that quenched my thirst but did not test my taste buds or nasal organ too greatly..
