We have stillaging and cooling equipment, will organise a selection of beers for you to approve and set it all up
For something a little different ask if we have our vintage Morris dray available. It has been on display at festivals and was used as a hearse for a funeral.
Mid-2024 the ownership of the Burton Bridge brewery has changed hands in a merger which also ensures the future of the town’s Heritage brewery.
The deal sees Burton Bridge come under the umbrella of leisure company Planning Solutions, which previously ran the National Brewery Centre in Burton, prior to Molson Coors’ decision to close it.

Cask at Devonshire Arms, Burton on Trent. Pours almost black with a medium sized foamy cream head. Dark fruits in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off briefly with roast malts, before chocolate takes over, along with apples and some hints ofr coffee. Let down somewhat by being a tad watery. Finish has roast malts and liquorice. It’s nae so bad.

Cask at Alexandra, Derby. Has the classic “Burton snatch” of sulphur in the nose, along with some malts. Pours a bright golden orange with minimal white head and good lacing. Sweet malts dominate the mouthfeel, along with cream grains. Hints of tangerine and toffee as well with a bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a dark red-brown with a small cream head. The nose is creamy with added chocolate. There is a rough bitterness in the mouth with roasted malts and liquorice to the fore. Underneath there are molasses, cherries and chocolate. Finish is bitter – almost sour. A pretty good porter.

Rocky light brown head left a spotty cover on deep mahogany coloured still body. Malt & dark chocolate aroma. Smells delicious! Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a lighter clean finish. Malt, liquorice, chocolate & nutty tastes with a fruity finish. Proper Old School Porter - Excellent

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts fine malty, bitter lemon touch. Floral background. Finish milder, bitter aftertaste. Okay.
