Bottle a Chriso’s tasting 20/01/2013. Slightly hazy yellow straw colour. Earthy grassy nose with some lager and nobel hop notes. Grainy, good grassy hop flaavour with a little spice. Medium hih carbed. Decent.

Bottle, thanks to Ian at Chriso Snow Tasting 20/01/13. Almost clear pale golden, no head. Nose is grassy, herbal, farmy, fresh mint, orange peel, citrus, a little peppery. Taste comprises pale malts, spice, corriander, orange, lemon, grass, herbal qualities. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter spiced finish, Good stuff!

This biere de garde is flirting with tripel territory. Nice hazy golden color with slick head, aroma of hay, grass, honey and hops. Taste is wonderful, again like a triple, smooth bitterness, mouthfeel is heavy and oily. Perfect!

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks avrashi. As L’Angelus Origin’Ale. Clear golden. Aroma of acetone, cooked fruits, apples, apricots and floral spiciness, a bit soap-like. Sweet and spicy flavor, a bit candy-ish. Light to medium-bodied. Pretty weird.

Dobre farmeńskie piwo górnej fermentacji. Aromat gorzkawo-kwiatowy. W smaku pikantność wyczuwalna po przełknięciu, kolor jakby lekko zmętniony choć piwo było bez osadu.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Looks a little like Lucozade but thankfully doesn’t taste like it! Quite highly carbonated amber French ale with a fruity aroma. An interesting bitterness in the flavour with strange aftertaste. A nice enough beer, but might become a little sickly eventually.

It seems that this brewery is actually called ”Brasserie Lepers” and located in Annoeullin
Aroma is rather fruity and strong on apricot. Also some soapy citrus. Flavour has soapy citrus, some apricot, fruit sugar, honey and hints of spices. The sweetness gets stronger towards the end of the glass. Not your typical Bière de Garde, reminds me of De Hemel Marikenbier (which is a Belgian Ale).
