Description
Since 1996, our brewing philosophy has been quite simple – to brew memorable, well balanced and flavourful beers, regardless of the style.

From light and crisp, to malt forward and smooth, all the way to loaded with hops… each of our brews are crafted using 100% malted barley, the finest hops, water and yeast.

Founded in Kelowna, BC, now brewing in our expanded facility with Big Rock Brewery in North Vancouver’s Brewery Creek district, drop by if you’re in the neighbourhood and we’ll show you first hand how we make great beer.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy blond color with compact head. Very light malt aroma. The malt flavor is delicate, pleasant, with tones of hay; the hop has indeed a grassy touch, missing a bite perhaps.
Pretty good Helles, timid though. I can see myself drinking more of this.

Tasting at Josh’s
Clean amber color, compact beige head. Moderate smoke aroma, but massive smoke flavor, that blends well with the sweet caramelly and nutty body.
Linear Smoked Bock, I like this a lot.

650mL bottle, pours a dark caramel colour with a small white head. Aroma brings out light fire pit smoke and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium smoke, some fire pit, and bready malt. Dry and nicely smoked. Pretty solid.

Tasting at Matt’s, growler
Brown color, dark and opaque. Funny aroma, malt, caramel, and some vegetables, but overall mild. Good body strength, but not as sweet or robust as other barley Wines; quite good flavor of caramel, toffee and some oak/vanilla, nutty.
Nice.

Growler, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Nose brings out lots of diacetyl, followed by bready malts and a little caramel. Flavour is much less diacetyl-infected, with loads of caramel, phenolic notes, perfume, and bready malt. Lacking complexity and quite uncoordinated. Not good.
