Description
Since 1996, our brewing philosophy has been quite simple – to brew memorable, well balanced and flavourful beers, regardless of the style.

From light and crisp, to malt forward and smooth, all the way to loaded with hops… each of our brews are crafted using 100% malted barley, the finest hops, water and yeast.

Founded in Kelowna, BC, now brewing in our expanded facility with Big Rock Brewery in North Vancouver’s Brewery Creek district, drop by if you’re in the neighbourhood and we’ll show you first hand how we make great beer.

Reddiish brown, barely any haze. Has a vaguely nutty brown ale aroma. Light toasty, slightly coffeeish character. Some thin brown ale malts, with dark sugars, but overall just a mellow character.

Tasting at Matt’s
Brown color. In line with other dusty Brown Ales in North America, moderately sweet, but it has a bit more roastiness and flavor depth.
Ok.

650mL bottle, pours a dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, bready notes, and some earth. Flavour is pretty dry and mellow, with earty notes, toasted malt, and bready notes. Dry, with a bitter astringency on the finish. Meh.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Fiona. Hazy deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Thin dark malts. Some alcohol spice. Modest pine hops. Floral bitterness. Some mild citric peel. Light finish. Not bad, perhaps a little overcooked alcohol wise.

22 oz bottle. Pours a deep red amber with a tan head. Red apple fruity aroma. Flavor has red grape and molasses. A touch of oxidiation, as I suspect this bottle is aged a bit, but it’s not bad. Finishes clean. Not bad at all.

500ml can. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium, long lasting, fizzy, white head that laces. Strong, sweet aroma of grapefruit soda. Bittersweet flavour of grapefruit juice and sugar with a crisp, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Overly sweet, but refreshing and not bad as far as radlers go.
