pale golden color frothy white head. Big toasted malt nose with. Nice bitter bitter balanced. Slightly fruity finish as it warms up. Very clean, nice dortmunder.

Bottle at MadMitch76 20K tasting, thanks to Fiona. It pours darkest brown with a thick beige head. The nose is toast, earth, chocolate, treacle, fruit cake and spicy ginger. The taste is bitter, toasted malt, earth, charred wood, earth, cocoa, treacle, Eccles cake, orange peel and Negroni bitterness towards the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Has an interesting Negroni bitter orange character. Overall not bad.

hazy light amber color. Sweet malty nose with faint hints of rye. The mouth shows a lot more rye but malty and not too distinguable. Hops have definitely faded on this beer

Poured from 650mL bottle. Cloudy copper brown with beige head. Pumpkin and nutmeg with citrus hops. Interesting, but flavours don’t meld that well.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pitch black with a small dark tan head. Nose is roasty malts with lots of chocolate and a coffee background.with a hint of smokiness. Light sweetness with a medium chocolate bitterness. Medium+ creamy body with soft carbonation and a dry finish.

355ml can. Pours a clear yellow with a thin, fizzy, white head. Light apple aroma with a musty note. Sweet flavour of apples with a dry, slightly acidic finish. Light body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Nothing special.

Pours a real dark brown colour with a big creamy mocha head, very long lasting with some nice lacing. Nice coffee aromas over the burnt malt and smooth vanilla hints. The taste is pretty much roasted malts, hence the name "Old school" which makes sense. Nice lingering burnt flavours on the tongue with some dryness in the finish. A very nice typical stout that goes down very nicely and smooth.

Dark brown color. Smells a lot like cheap chocolate, it has some residual sweetness, the flavor is just slightly better than the aroma, the chocolate is more real, and it ends with a nice bitterness level.
