[Tap at the Fox, Farthinghoe] A hazy amber pour with a ring of white head; citrus aroma; crisp citrus taste with a malty body. Unexciting.

Tap at The White Horse, Balsall Common. Clear gold with small white top, decent lacing. Quite citric with a drying light bitter finish. Light bodied, refreshing .A bit one toned but a decent enough session beer.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear amber with beige foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, some citrus, hedgerow berries. Taste follows, light sweet & light to moderate bitter, some mild grassiness on the finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. It's more a best bitter than IPA for me.

Keg at Bedford CAMRA Beer Festival 2024. Pours black with tan foam. Nose: roast malts, cocoa, mild coffee. Taste: towards moderate sweet with similar bitterness. Medium body with fine carbonation. Lightly dry on the palate. Not bad but it's a bit sweet if it's meant to be a dry stout.

Keg at the Flint Cottage, HWY, 16/08/24. Golden pour with a lasting white head, lacing ensues. Nose is airy malts, grass, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises citric sherbets, lemon rind, grass, soft malts, light breads, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with very modest hop bitterness. Pseudo cask pale, weak and rudderless, had a pint of this and was bored half way through.

Keg at the Flint Cottage, HWY, 16/08/24. Light golden blonde with a just off white head that thins in time. Nose is pale malts, grassy, herb, light stewed fruit esters. Taste comprises pale malts, biscuit, grains, sweet edged, faint citric notes, hedgerow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not great ... smacks of macro ... sweet, flabby, unfulfilling.

Keg at the Flint Cottage, HWY, 16/08/24. Black with a faded tan cap that retains well, lacing ensues. Nose is roast malts, toffee, cocoa powder, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate, dark malts, raisins, toffee, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Okay simple stout ... like a Guinness replacement for the tap line.

Cask at the Flint Cottage, HWY, 16/08/24. Golden blonde topped with a white head. Nose is mellow citric zest, grass, melon, light breads. Taste comprises orange peel, soft malts, breads, toasted malts, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness. Okay if somewhat muted cask affair .. not an IPA of any description but not sure what style it's best placed in.
