Poor. Very sweet. Small glass in the Jolly Sailor, La Rochelle, the only English bar alongside the harbour, it was empty, should have given me a clue. The next day, Saturday, it was closed.

Can at home picked up from the adnams shop Southwold, brewery tick only. A dull pale gold coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is green, stale cereal, spicy notes, stale bread, cheap lager vibes. Flavour is composed of light tangy, pale grains, cereal, chalky, green cereal,. Palate us thin grains, cereal, highish carbonation, light tang. Not sure what exactly the point of this beverage is. Dull AF. Seltzer water with vague hop flavour.

Pint at the Jolly Sailor in St Albans while waiting for the school spring concert to start. This is a macro take on a hazy IPA. Yes, it ticks all the boxes and is perfectly drinkable, but lacks soul.

[Tap at the Fox, Farthinghoe] A hazy amber pour with a ring of white head; citrus aroma; crisp citrus taste with a malty body. Unexciting.

Tap at The White Horse, Balsall Common. Clear gold with small white top, decent lacing. Quite citric with a drying light bitter finish. Light bodied, refreshing .A bit one toned but a decent enough session beer.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear amber with beige foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, some citrus, hedgerow berries. Taste follows, light sweet & light to moderate bitter, some mild grassiness on the finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. It's more a best bitter than IPA for me.
