Description
After working for breweries in the United States and Australia, Joseph Tyler Lapp decided to found the Abstract Brewing Company. The focus is on dry, mildly bitter West Coast IPas, brewed with various hops that provide balance and drinkability. Currently, various breweries in the Amsterdam region are brewing and you can call Abstract Brewing Company a gipsy brewery.

Can picked up from Bierloods22 Webshop Woerden Netherlands and consumed at home Tuesday 12th July 2022 sat outside listening to Marc Riley on 6 Music having just had Spaghetti with Anchovies, Capers and Lemon. Pours orange gold, hazy with a white head. Nice Westy, sweetness but good raspy lemon and a zestyness. I like this.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 4 May 2022) Amber colour with creamy, tan head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, apricots and rye bread. Fruity, hoppy taste with crisp-bread, orange peel, mandarin, apricots and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty West Coast IPA. Nice one.

Deaught at Van Moll. Clear golden color, full sized thick, dense creamy white head. Great appearance I must say! Nice aroma as well of malts, old school hops, resinous a bit. Flavor is similar with a nice bitterness. Solid body and carbonation.

Super dry, sharp and mildly bitter. But nothing to back it up. Well brewed, just not a great recipe. Gollem amstelstraat (march 2022) Can from bierkonig. Quite a nice beer, rather smooth and even a little milkshake. Better than before
