Description
Since we started in 2015, we wanted to build an independent, modern brewery in our beloved city of Berlin. But building a buisness is difficult, so we started as contract brewers and brew our core assortment in the Hohenthanner Schlossbrauerei. Now, we count the days till we can brew all of our beers in our own production brewery close to the Berlin S-bahn in Neukölln. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for regular updates!

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Initially rather weak, slowly developing and tardy unfurled, roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of dark chocolate, some coffee, coffee surrogate. Taste is bitter, minimally tart, roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, coffee surrogate, a minimally veggie touch, sorrel, more pleasant hints of mocha, dark chocolate, very subtle sweetness work against. Watery texture, repellant, metallic, somehow insular palate, only a narrow part of the taste buds is modulated section, fine to medium, minimally prickly carbonation. Kind of a late bloomer, concede some time to it for the full evolution of flavours; the surrogate touch will volatilize and give way to more real coffee and dark chocolate flavours - eventually quite nice.

Huge thanks rauchbierlover! Misty orange body, white head. Caramelly malt driven aroma, some orange candy. Caramel and orange candy in the taste too, some dry maltiness too, low to medium-low bitterness, vague tea. This is basically kinda oldschoolish, but mostly akin to macro attempts at the style. Okay beverage but IPA as a style usually goes in more interesting directions. Maybe better fresher, dunno (BB 21.3.2021.)
