0.3l tap. Murky dark brown with a small creamy head. Bold cocoa, coffee and licorice, burnt malt, chocolate, toffee, citrus. Malty chocolaty sweetness, dry bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slick oily texture, soft carbonated, dry toffee coffee bittersweet finish. Well made, tastes rather flavoured and sweet however with a good balanced dry bitterness.

Kalea-Bieradventkalender 21.12.2022 (Craftbier-Version) Gegen Ende des Advents geht es nochmals in den Norden der Bundesrepublik. Es ist ein fruchtig-malziges Rotes Ale mit einem vollem Körper, auch wenn es sonst nicht allzu tiefgründig ist und nach einer Flasche man gerne zu etwas anderem greift.

(Draught at Protokoll, Berlin, 30 July 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of toast, grass, hay and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, grass, citrus and a mild herbal/grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a fresh gentle hop profile. Quite nice.

01.13.2022 - 0.5l bottle from edeka in charlottenburg, bb 08.2023. pours a clear pale golden. aroma of lemon cheesecake, slight malts, chalk if it had an aroma. flavour of herbs, a bit of cereals, tart apples, a hint of tropical fruits. light body but not watery. clean, pleasant.
