I asked the fellow working at the bottle shop in Prague near the hotel to pick out a number of Czech beers for me. They’ve all been Double NEIPAs. That can be all right and it can be overkill. This evening I have a chilled 500 ml can of Anezka Ch. to sample, 9.5% ABV and a best by date of 10.01.25 it says on the label. The pour into my tulip glass is yellow-orange with a here-and-gone arctic white skim of foam. I determine a scent of citrus, tropical and a hint of hops. The drink is better than I hoped. Orange zest, a touch of grapefruit and accompanying bitterness, caramel, kiwi and white bread. Fairly dry, I think that works well. Pleasant beer on an extremely warm Texas evening.

Bottle from BeerStation. Hoppy and malty aroma and taste, citrus fruit, medium bitter. Medium body, malty and hoppy bitter finish. Ok.

Tap. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of Galaxy hops. Taste is hop centered with Galaxy hops with passion fruits, oranges, zest. Very good.

Can 0.5l at Base Camp with Camons and Ellen. Cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- vanilla pudding, semolina porridge, some citrus. FLAVOR- neutral to slightly sweet, moderately bitter, the same as aroma, meadow grasses. Medium bodied. A bit odd, still not bad.

Can @ Base Camp, Prague. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of light malt, sweet fruity hops, tropical fruit. Flavor is sweet, light malt, sweet fruity hops, tropical fruit, light citrus - a tad old. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 070824

Mein Einstiegsbier für einen gemütlichen Biertag in Bratislava 🛸. Ein leichtes Zehngrädiges, das zwar etwas wässrig 🍶 ist, aber auch schöne spritzige 💦 Hopfennoten bietet. Dazu dezente Fruchtnoten und eine sehr zurückhaltende Bitterkeit (hier sieht man gut dass sich ein Hazy PA vom Hazy IPA unterscheidet). Schönes Sommerbier ⛱️ , das aber wirklich nur im Sommer 🌞 passt.

Can 0.5l. Cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- citrusy, lemon, quince, apricot, some yuzu and kumquat. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, lightly bitter, fresh squeezed citrus juice, citrus resins, malt. Medium bodied. Unusual and really tasty.
