Roast and a hint of smoke, coffee. Pours black with OK head and lacing. Light bitter finish. I don't get a super potent black IPA vibe from this, but a little more hops than say a dunkel. Tap at Shelter.

Light saaz here. Comes on nowhere near as potent as the Chroust Jura I just had before. Pours clear golden with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Pleasant all around. Tap at Shelter.

A little rust and a hint of butter. Pours clear amber with decent head retention. A little lime that hangs around for a bit. Tap at Shelter.

Sample at the Roost pours a clear amber, wispy white head. Nose had a whiff of something sour that thankfully blew off, then it becomes yeast and malt and dough. Flavor is a bit simple but nothing off. My least favorite of the trio from this spot.

Draft at the roost pours an inky black with some frothy, tan head. Nose is nutty, piney, soapy. Big grist and burnt toast. Malty and chewy in the mouth, toast and some coffee grounds. Pine more than anything. Medium bodied. Chewy and bitter on the finish. Solid.

Becher pour on a lukr at the Roost. Clear dark gold, thick white head. Grainy nose, grist, dough, mayhe a little plastic but pretty good. I may be reading butter for plastic here. Dough and sweet in the mouth, some light bitterness. Dry, good bite. More peppery than I would have thought.

One of a pair of last batch beers from the Antoš crew that ran it for years, but basically wasn't allowed to continue the location, as far as I know at least. Rampušák took the distro on them, and my can got to TSV. Bit dull chalky orange-golden body, off-white, thick head, medium retention. Lean, dry, soft, mildly soapy tadte, citric/lemony and some coconut underneath, not the most vibrant of expressions but within reason. Bitterish finish, some low low low hop burn too. Not perfect but who cares. Antoš... at least *this* Antoš... you didn't always thrill, but you deserved better!

Thin bod, med-hi carbo. Med-light sour, light sweet. Clean lacto, no funk. Lots of flowery, herbal character, med-light spruce, quite rich, nice harmonic feeling. Tasty, easy D. Good one.

Med-full oaty cereal body. Med carbo. Med bitter, med sweet. Feels old, hops character is weak and slightly cheesy. Med general fruitiness and little else. Average at best.

Med-thin body, med carbo. Med-high bitter, light caramelly sweet, light grainy astringent. None of it is a problem, but the slightly cheesy staleish oxidated hops is. Medium citrusy piney character present, but feels choked by the sweat. Goodish, nongreat
