500ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, thick, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, dark brown head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, caramel, some toffee, coffee, a touch of nougat and roasted nuts, liquorice, peat and leather. Taste is roasty dark malty, sweet-ish caramel malty, notes of caramel and treacle, hints of dark chocolate, some liquorice, coffee, a touch of peat and leather, unspecific fruity overtones with a touch of dark berries, plum, plum butter, some honey as well. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slighly cloying palate, lingering, sweet-ish dark malty and minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Rich and complex, very harmonious and integrated. This one is really impressive.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is roasted, cream, meaty, taste is similar, sweet, vanilla.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, cocoa powder, meaty, taste is similar, quite harsh and bitter, some hints of custard cream.

Can. Golden color, Citrus, grass and soft herbal notes in the aroma and flavor. Dry. Firmly hopped. Hint of metal.

Can. Orange blonde. Tea, white pepper, nutmeg and mango in the aroma. Mango and grass in the slightly herbal flavor. Nutmeg. Pleasant, tasty, juicy.

Canned 18.11.2019. More on the milkshake end of the spectrum. Very sweet, lots of peach and lots of lactose. Smooth, easy drinking, but starting to stray from beeryness a little bit too far for me. As a shake drink, very tasty though. Thanks for dinner!

Can. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a decent dark chocolate well integrated with a pleasing coconut. An almost bourbon barrel ripe fruity richness. Smooth and semi dry finish. Rich and satisfying.

Opaque deep brown, small beige head. Aroma: various spices including cinnamon and nutmeg, dark malts, chocolate, roast. Light to medium body. Taste: light sweet, malty, spicy. Roast, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg. Low to light bitterness. Not my cup of tea I'm afraid.
