Cask at the Hay Inn, Shirland, Derbyshire. An appealling deep cherry red colour with a cream head; little aroma; but a fruity taste with cherries too; a clean light dry finish with a touch of biscuit.

Cask. Dark copper colour. Good, piney hop aroma, yet grassy and fruity. The flavour has the same characteristics as aroma with some caramel.

From Cask at the Bell in Nottingham; good amber colour and a good head which lasted to the bottom; typical bitter flavour, but not much to distinguish it.

Sampled cask conditioned. Attractive brownish copper colour. Sharp blueberry aroma. Slightly fruity, a bit watery mouthfeel, more blueberries. Light bodied and not much in the way of bitterness. Slightly salty finish. Despite it's lightness it has qualities and, it grew on me.
