Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Yeasty aroma with spicy notes, orange peel, coriander, malt, some ripe banana. Flavour is medium sweet and mild bitter. Medium body. Simply a well-realised Tripel.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is ripe/stewed fruits with malt, touch of honey, light yeast. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a decent hoppy bitterness. Medium body. Bittersweet with ripe fruits, a decent specimen of Maibock.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Vuurtje Herfstbock. Dried fruit upfront, with caramel and sweet brown malts. Touch of nuts and toffee. Flavour is medium sweet and mild bitter. Body is medium with fairly low carbonation. Not bad, just needs a little refinement.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Cloudy orange coloured brew with an sweet bitter taste with hints of oranges, caramel and coriander. Quite okay Tripel from this contract brewer.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orange, amber colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, mellow malty and slightly fruity, hopy aroma, hints of yellow stone fruit, apricot, peach, quince..., some mandarine, some honey. Taste is mellow malty, mildly bitter, fruity hoppy and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy, hints of mandarine, yellow stone fruit, some honey sweetness, some zesty bitterness, orange peel, peppery spicy overtones. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, balanced, harmonious, maybe a tad too sweet - decent.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small, creamy, fading, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty and minimally nutty aroma, hints of praline. Taste is slightly nutty, dark malty, hints of praline, a touch of alcohol; minimally chalky finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, soft carbonation. Simple, monotonous, expressionless, no depth - forgettable.

10/12/2022. Bottle shared with ITFCDan. From Boris, cheers, I enjoyed this more than you did! Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small short lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, sweet fruits, golden syrup, dried fruit and dried apricot. Quite sweet with light bitterness. Medium body, oily sticky mouthfeel, very soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Yeasty spicy and slightly phenolic, fruity aroma, hints of dried fruit, raisin, sultana, whiffs of ammonia. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly alcoholic, yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity, hints of dried fruit, raisin, sultana, a touch of oat flakes, slight muesli character overall; minimally tart-ish, tangy finish. Watery texture, minimally dry and astringent palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. Slightly boozy, quite some off-flavours - meh!

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierloods22', best before August 2023. Hazy, dark reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity-floral aroma of honey, dried apricot, some lemon peel and hints of hay. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, honey, dried apricot and light lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Bock.
