0.33l bottle, bb 23.03.17. pours a hazy deep golden with a big frothy head. aroma of caramel, sweet grains, honey. flavour of soap, leaves, grains, vegetables. little bitterness, flat carbonation.

on tap at basler biermarkt. pours a hazy amber with a steady head. aroma of pickles, funk. flavour of pickles, green pepper, lime, lots of lactic notes.

Botella 33 cl. Gracias Cimmeria 09..01..2016. Lote 261 hasta 19..05..2016. (r43). Color amarillento con espuma blanca. Sabores maltosos y cereales con ligeros caramelos algo dulces. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber. Sin muchos atractivos. Normal.

Tap at tibits Basel. Pours golden with the slightest hint of haze, but almost no foam. I assume that?s the tap that they use. Aroma is dominated by light malts with some grassy hops, not too shy altogether. Taste of the medium body is lightly sweet with some hop flavours waving from afar, as if to show they were actually used, but not taking the stage. Round and pretty smooth experience until there. A bit flat, maybe. Bitterness is more notable on the palate. Speaking of it, the palate is an undecided mix of the body leasing into it, some hops that finally want to be noted, the bitterness finally kicking in and the carbonation deciding it doesn?t exist anymore. Needs more harmony there. All in all nothing outstanding, with an aroma and a taste which work and a palate that disappoints.

17.10.2016 - 0.5l flip-top bottle, bb 06.10.16. pours a cloudy honey yellow with a medium white head and little lacing. aroma of banana, cloves, apples, wood. flavour of banana, chewed pencil. chalky mouthfeel. ok-ish. 26.08.2020 - 0.33l bottle from smartbeer. bananas, apples, slightly sour and astringent. ok.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Overripe banana, and lots of it. But nothing else. Very crisp, heavy body, a bit boozy. Same on the palate. Nice and classic.

Bottle and Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pumpkin can be found in the body and in the palate, but it is rather low. Some vegetable aroma, but is that pumpkin? Lovely carbonation, medium body, rather refreshing and dry. I mean, it’s not a strong pumpkin, it it is not a bad beer.

330ml bottle [trade with Bartlebier, thank you very much!]. Barely clear, yellow-ish, faint, pale golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, spicy aroma, notes of elderberry. Taste is monolithic spicy, malty, hints of yellow curry, curcuma; light and minimally watery. As the elderberry is cleary identifiable in the aroma, it is very interesting to find it bonded in an absolutely homogeneous taste of genuine character.

Tap. Slight elderflower indeed, but mostly straw and a little bit of hay. Quite thin and soft, very summery, but not enough carbonation to make it really refreshing. Rather bland.
