Dark brown-amber color with small grey head. A beautiful juicy fruit hop nose, surprising! Taste is hoppy, with a dry coffee background, but the hops are present. Dry finish. Black IPA is usually not my style, but this one is great!

19.05.2015 - pours hazy amber with an off-white head and some lacing. nose: hops, caramel, stale hay, damp dishrag. didn’t like the aroma very much. mouthfeel is much better. dried fruit, citrus, caramel. bittersweet finish. 3/3/7/4/14 20.08.2020 - 0.33l bottle at home, bb 26.12.2020. nice citrusy and tropical fruity aroma this time, just a hint of grape skins.

330ml bottle, no.191, bought at a Eurospar store in central Basel. Pearl white head gradually diminishing over a clear amber coloured body. Smell of brown malts joined by fruity hops. Likewise, the taste profile brings caramel malts, honey, and mid-sweet fruits followed by a mild bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Just alright (hotel room in Basel, 28.07.2014).

330ml bottle, no.188, picked up at a Eurospar store in Basel. Slowly diminishing white head to a near-clear, pale golden body. Grass and fruity sweetness on the nose. Fruit hoppy tasting notes of peach and pineapple together with bread-like malts. Herbal hops to the ending. Clean tasting. Easy going (hotel room, Basel 28.07.2014).

330ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, almost exclusively carrying notes of hay, some rotten hay, all in all a smell like a clammy haystack. Taste resembles the aroma with some bitterness and a touch of red berries in addition.
