Shared at a tasting, thanks anstei, small creamy head, opaque dark brown color, aroma of dark bread, toasted wood and some dark chocolate, flavor of charcoal and very bitter dark chocolate with some dark bread in the back. Nice and drinkable.

Wässrig bitterer, erhöht karbonisierter Antrunk. Geringe Hopfigkeit unter Pale Ale Level, angenehm herb, mittellanger, geringfügig fruchtiger Nachhall. Okay, unspannend. 9/7/9/8/9/7

16th April 2018, at the monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Thanks Mat for this 33cl bottle and the Raclette Cheese melted on a slice of brown bread to have with it. Little haze to the amber pour, white topping. Mild tea like aroma and taste with a peppery twist in both the nose and flavour. Glad we tried it with the Raclette, helped the beer no end.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 18, brought by myself. Paired with raclette. Pours a generally clear gold, small white head. Aroma is peppery, lightly sweet. Taste is similarly peppery, with prominent floral darjeeling, some caramel. Peppery notes seem to work well with the raclette.

bottiglia 33 cl, ABV 5.0%, bel cappello di schiuma fine color cappuccino persistente, colore nero, al naso caffè liquirizia, in bocca malto tostato caffè frutta secca, moderato affumicato, carbonazione leggera, corpo leggero, watery, amaro moderato. Manca un po' di corpo. 30.03.18

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is cocoa, sweet, mashmallow, sugar icing. Taste is cocoa, marshmallow, a tiny touch sour. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very pastry, decent.

Bottle shared at Daniel Osprey 10K tasting. 21/03/2018. Many thanks! A dirty brown coloured pour with a toffee, . Flavour is cmposed of peanut butter, woody, woody, nutty malts, peanut, hazelnut, malts, . Palte is semi sweet, airy, carbaontion. ok.

Bottle shared in London / cheers! Good stuff overall, lots of dark fruits, chalky cocoa, mellow roast, leathery berries. Full bodied with fine cArboanrion. Oily finish, warming, with more leathery dark ghosts, cocoa. Just alright.

Craft Angel. Dan's 10K boostfest. Hazy brown beer, small tan head. Smooth dark malts, rich powdery dark chocolate. Some light marshmallow sweetness. Modest chocolate fudge. Light tangy fruits. Smooth finish. Okay.
