Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, black with a burgundy tint and a rich, beige head with good retention. Dusty, roasty nose with a hint of cocoa. Rich and very sweet body, some odd plastic notes - cloyingly sweet even with very little hops for balance. Hard to drink. 310122

Bottle 50 cl. ours a clear amber with a rich, off-white head leaving a little lacework. Nose has a little toffee and nuts - fairly faint though. Rich, sweet, malty body. Biscuity, toffee and nuts, with a balancing late bitterness. Nothing fancy, but solid craftmanship. 310122

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark golden - borderline amber - with a rich, off-white head. Some faint citrus in the nose, and alcohol. Fairly rich and sweet, malty body with some caramel and a rather brutal bitterness. Rough indeed. 310122

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Hazy amber, small head. Dough, caramel and hay up front. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, rye bready and spicy hay. Long bitter finish. An all around solid piece.
