500 ml bottle, beer #698+699, from Kalø Whisky & Vin. ABV is 9.5%. Black colour, large to moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, coffee, black rye bread and liquorice. The flavour is slightly sweet with some sourish notes, distinct notes of liquorice, also notes of dark chocolate and coffee.

500 ml bottle, beer #687, from Kalø Whisky & Vin. ABV is 6.2%. Deep golden to orange colour, hazy when the yeast is poured, moderate white head. Wheaty aroma with notes of coriander seeds, orange peel and black peppercorn. Refreshing flavour, not too sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate hops. Harmonious and well balanced.

500 ml bottle, beer #685, from Kalø Whisky & Vin. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy brownish golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of caramel malts, hints of stewed and caramelized fruits. Medium sweet flavour of caramel malts, moderate earthy hops in the finish.

500 ml bottle, beer #689, from Kalø Whisky & Vin. ABV is 7.3%. Slightly hazy brownish-orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, orange marmalade and pine. Sufficient malts in the flavour, mid between dry and sweet, notes of bitter orange marmalade, with a distinct piney / resinous bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.

500 ml bottle, from Kalø Whisky & Vin. ABV is 5.3%. Golden colour, nearly clear, moderate to small white head. Distinct aroma of passionfruit and other tropical fruits. Fruity flavour, moderately sweet, citrus and tropical fruits galore, no bitterness. Quite refreshing.

Bottle, 9.5%. Quite roasted aroma, paper and liquorice. Almost black colour, seems clear. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted with slightly salty liquorice notes. Dry finish of raw liquorice.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a white head. Perfumy coriander nose. Medium body, a sweet fruitiness with an underlying orange note and some late bitterness. Fairly potent for a Wit. 100921

Shared 500 ml bottle, from Kalø Whisky & Vin. ABV is 7.3%. Slightly hazy reddish colour, white head. Moderate malty aroma, hints of red berries. Malty flavour, some sweetness, but also distinct earthy hops. Would go well with some traditional English pub grub.

Bottle shared with Sigmund, Johan and Holmen1 at Bjørnøy 28.08.21. Dark orange amber. Persistent beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of ripe tropical fruits, caramel malt and dried berries. Good!
