Cask @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, hops, fruits and has a nice long bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the brewpub 5/7/2016. Pale gold in colour, with a decent, white, head. Aroma of hay, lemon and a touch of tropical fruit, with some leafy hops. Flavour had more fruits, biscuity malts and a lingering bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the brewpub 5/7/2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. An easy drinking session beer, with a malty edge, some leafy hops and moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at B&K Dorchester. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nose is toast, earthy roast, liquorice, fruit cake and a touch of clove. The taste is bitter, earthy roast, charred wood, umami, liquorice and burnt treacle with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Not bad go at a dark lager, but I can’t help think this would work way better on keg.

Cask at B&K Dorchester. It pours clear brown with a small off-white head. The nose is rich malt action, malt loaf, brown bread, earth, dried fruits and a touch of instant coffee. The taste is rich, malt - driven, brown bread, earthy, leather, raisin and malt loaf with a dry, toasted finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent malty ale.

Cask at B&K Dorchester. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is sweetish, caramel, toffee, earth, oily action and resin. The taste is bitter - sweet, wood, resin, caramel, toffee, earth, alcohol hit and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit more toffee than I would expected. Overall OK at best but not a classic US IPA by any measure.

Cask at Dorchester Brewhouse & Kitchen. Brown-black, no head and a veru light albeit slightly prickly fizz. Rather metallic up front, then sweet chocolate and blackcurrant come through. Very mild hint of grassy hops in the background don’t really do much, and it remains on the sweet side. Worked quite well as a pudding beer though.

Cask at Dorchester Brewhouse & Kitchen. Reddish-amber. Warming toffee malts throughout with just a smidgen of orange, earth and spice. Pleasant, well-balanced beer, and the best I tried at this brewpub.

Cask at Dorchester Brewhouse & Kitchen. Gold with a thin white head. Light caramel with some rather dusty straw and a hint of lemon squash in the sweetish finish. All very subdued though, definitely needs a lot more hop presence, although it did grow on me.

Cask at the brewpub, 28/10/15. Clear golden with a decent light beige cap that retains well. Nose is light malt, bready notes, trace of citric zest. Taste comprises bread dough, biscuit, caramel, light maltings. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Ok session affair if a lite thin in places.
