Bottle. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a decent head. Nose - light citrus and spice. Taste - more of the same. Sweet malt at the back. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a very drinkable lager. For a pilsner I might expect more bitterness.

Cask at the Grenfell Arms, Maidenhead. Apparently a collaboration with Greene King. A reddish amber pour with a loose cream head; bready aroma; dry and malty in the mouth with just a hint of spice; then a sweet carmael finish. Dull and boring.

Cask @ The Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, white head. Good malty aroma with citrus hints. Taste is smooth, a touch creamy even, with a lightly sweet citrus fruit character that doesn’t let up to the end. Nice.
