Growing up in the Sussex countryside, surrounded by farmland, the boys gained a great respect for the outdoors, good beer and the British country pub.
All of these things, alongside a growing interest in home-brewing, inspired the three of them to start Three Acre Brewery in the autumn of 2018.

Cask at the London & County, Eastbourne. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big funky yeast and malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a light, watery, sweet sugary malt, earthy, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Way too sweet for me.

20/4/2024. Cask at The Artichoke, Norwich. Pours clear bright golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is starchy, nutty, husky, lemony, herbal, straw. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Mucky edge developed. Hope this wasn’t as the brewer intended.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson's Green, London, 19 Nov 2023) Hazy reddish brown colour with brief tan head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of prunes, dried fruit, biscuits and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, prunes, hints of wood and a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite complex and well balanced. Nice one.

Cask at London & County, Eastbourne. Nice Porter smell to this. Just right bitterness with reasoned smokiness.
