Growing up in the Sussex countryside, surrounded by farmland, the boys gained a great respect for the outdoors, good beer and the British country pub.
All of these things, alongside a growing interest in home-brewing, inspired the three of them to start Three Acre Brewery in the autumn of 2018.

Cask at the Cornfield Garage, Eastbourne. Poured a mostly clear dark brown colour with a round off white head. The aroma is roasty, light red berry fruits. The flavour is light sour, with a smooth, somewhat rich, red berry fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at JDW Eastbourne. Very nondescript aroma, slight vom, slight sweet Christmas pudding. Plain bitter look. Rather lovely flavour but not quite as gluggable as I like a bitter to be.

Cask (O'Neill's, Uppsala) - Dark brown with red tinges. Rich and fruity aroma with notes of cherries and raisins. Fruity taste with notes of dried fruit and Christmas cake. Rich but not excessively so.

Cask@Dark Beer Fest 2025, The Hope, Carshalton (27/11/2025) - New English brewery ✅ dark toasted sweet malty with some dark toffee, caramel, nice spices and getting some rindy citrus peel, spiced sweet toasted malty close. Good first impression.
