Description
Brewery co-founders Jamie, Chester and Peter have been close friends since primary school. An inseparable trio, their days were mostly spent outside, riding bikes and playing cricket – all in the ‘Three Acres’. They still do, with a few evenings at the pub thrown in for good measure.

Growing up in the Sussex countryside, surrounded by farmland, the boys gained a great respect for the outdoors, good beer and the British country pub.

All of these things, alongside a growing interest in home-brewing, inspired the three of them to start Three Acre Brewery in the autumn of 2018.

Cask at The Harp, Landan. Clear amber. Foamy white head sticks to the rim . Flavourwise it's a mess. Caramel and sourness and herbal hops and I dunno. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Someone went crazy on the brew.

Cask at Borough Arms, Crewe. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small foamy tan head and good lacing. There’s malts, chocolate and biscuits in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a creamy texture, but also a little watery. Flavours are roasted malts and milky chocolate with some hops and cocoa thrown in too. Later there are hints of liquorice and plums leading to a sweet and fruity finish. This is nice and easy drinking, though a bit lighter than expected.
