getrunken mit einer Gruppe älterer👵 ukrainischer Frauen, die davon gleich schwer begeistert waren (was durch deren Liebe zu Cognac erklärbar ist). Es ist ein intensiver Wheat wine, der in Brandy-Fässern gelagert wurde. Dadurch bekommt man einen holzigen 🪵, aber auch fruchtigen 🍒 Geschmack nach Kirschlikör gepaart mit malzigen Biskuitnoten 🫓. Es ist recht schwer zu trinken (außer man ist eine Likör-erprobte Oma 👩🦳) und muss die richtige Trinktemperatur von ca 10°C haben, aber dann hat man wirklich seine Freude am tollen Aromenspiel. Ein Bier, auf das man sich unbedingt einlassen sollte.

Ein Sauerbier, das aber nicht mit Blutorange (gibt es auch), aber mit HImbeeren verfeinert wurde. DIese harmonieren recht fein mit der sauren Suppe, auch wenn es am Anfang etwas hart zu trinken ist. Wenn man sich aber daruf einlässt, dass kann man mit dem Aromenspiel doch noch seine Freude haben.

Can courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! had this at home in the company of Judith Thursday 20th April 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6 Music, it is Round Table this evening with guests HIFi Sean (Sean Dickinson, ex Soup Dragons) Pauline Black, Nadine Shah. Pours hazy yellow with a white head, the nose is a little delicate, the taste however is quite robust, nice wheatiness, a little fruity but there is a punchy bitter bite, a dry finish. Good.

Can, Bierkiste. Milky pale yellow, offwhite cream. Citrus, perfume, flowery nose. Medium, light chalky dry body. Light banana, citrus, flowers, lychee, fairly perfumed finish. Quite drinkable.

14/1/2023. Can at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, stone fruits, coconut, wheat, grass, touch of pine. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tart edge. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Pretty decent.

Das Problem bei diesem Bier ist, dass es nur fassweise oder in durchsichtigen Plastikflaschen verschickt wird und da es weder filtriert oder pasteurisiert ist, kippt es schnell. So war auch mein Exemplar durch unsachgemäße und zu lange Lagerung sauer und alt. Aber man merkt durch den verbliebenen Duft, dass es einaml ordentlich gehopft war mit grasigen und leicht fruchtigen Noten. Ich würde es gerne einmal in frischer Form probieren, da es wirklich interessant scheint.

ABV: 6.8%. ✅ Hazy - murky medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops, sabro, grass - wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, wheat, grass - fruity hops - woody hops - herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230114]
